Fresh and good fish and chips! Being a tourist, I didn't mind doing something extremely touristie and having good fish and chip at this traditional restaurant seemed like what a good tourist should do. Situated near the port, this place looked pretty authentic and legit, with a huge dead fish displayed on the wall. The battered cod was fresh and juicy, but I remember it was on a pricey side. I also learned to eat fish and chip with salt and vinegar, which was surprisingly tasty. Mmmmm!!!

Had takeaway chips and a pasty today from this chip shop and have to say it was just terrible. Chips were fat, greasy and undercooked, the pasty was dripping in grease and the filling was cheap mince with bits of gristle. It was overpriced and the service was rushed and unfriendly. The food repeated on me for the rest of the day. This is the first time I have reviewed a restaurant and felt I needed to warn people about this place. Avoid at all costs.
